For over 20 years, my husband and I lived by the rhythm of the ocean. My career was spent managing operations at some of Australia's most iconic island destinations — including Lizard Island, Dunk Island, and XXXX Island — where the work was about creating guest experiences that felt unhurried, considered, and memorable.

We always dreamed of bringing that resort feeling home — spaces that made everyday life feel slower, lighter, and more grounded.

After years of caring for my husband through illness, that vision took on deeper meaning. Coastalis was born as a way to carry forward the life we loved — one shaped by the sea, simplicity, and the quiet impact of experienced details.

Today, Coastalis reflects that philosophy. Each piece is chosen to evoke the deep exhale you feel when ocean air hits your skin. This isn't décor for show — it's an invitation to live more gently, every day.

To minimise waste and unnecessary carbon footprint, we operate on a direct-shipment model. Every partner is personally vetted, and every product is selected against the durability and quality standards I worked to throughout my resort career.

Your order is fulfilled directly by trusted partners and delivered to your door — allowing us to offer a wider range of premium coastal designs without the overhead of a large warehouse, while supporting a small, independent business.
