A sculptural hand-carved marble bowl in deep waxed black, with a heavily fluted rim that ripples around the outside in steep vertical ridges. Each groove is carved by hand and the wax finish gives the stone real depth — close to matte from a distance, with subtle sheen where light catches the ridges. At 23cm across, it works as a fruit bowl, a dining table centrepiece, or a sculptural piece on a coffee table or sideboard. One in our current stock.

The fluting sets it apart among our decorator pieces — most of the stone here sits smoother.

Hand-carved natural marble with a waxed black finish. Marble is naturally porous and brittle — variation in shape, colour, and small surface repairs are intrinsic to handmade stone and not faults. The wax finish reduces porosity but doesn't eliminate it. Each piece is unique.

Cleaning: Wipe with a soft damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid acidic substances (vinegar, citrus, wine) which can etch the marble surface. Avoid heat and alcohol-based cleaners which can dissolve the wax. Don't soak or put in the dishwasher.
