Low and wide, the Calma Bench has a settled, unhurried presence — the kind of piece that reads as furniture rather than accent. The seat is hand-woven natural rattan with a hessian cushion, and because each bench is woven by hand, the tone and pattern shift subtly from piece to piece; up close, the weave has a dry, tactile honesty to it. The interior lifts for storage, so it earns its keep at the end of a bed, behind a sofa, or along a hallway wall.
