The herringbone-laid top gives the table a graphic, almost architectural quality — the interlocking pieces radiating outward across a full circle create a tension between pattern and form that's unusual for a dining table. It's built from solid reclaimed elm, the natural grain variation and pale honey tones sitting beneath a lightly oiled matte finish that keeps the surface tactile rather than polished. Works well as a dining room centrepiece where the table is expected to carry visual weight without additional styling around it.

The herringbone layout means no two sightlines across the table are the same — the pattern shifts depending on where you're sitting. The circular format softens what could otherwise be a very geometric surface treatment. In natural light, the pale grain variation across individual elm pieces reads as texture rather than colour.

Reclaimed elm is susceptible to humidity fluctuation — avoid placement in direct sun or near air conditioning vents to minimise expansion and contraction. Natural finish surfaces will develop a patina over time, which is characteristic of the material.

Cleaning: Wipe down with a lightly damp cloth. Dry immediately — do not allow water to pool on the surface. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners. Re-oil periodically with a food-safe timber oil to maintain the finish.
