A flat, upright slab on a slim plinth, with a thin stem lifting a squared white shade well clear of it. The base is natural alabaster, soft and slightly translucent, with cloudy drifts of grey and amber through the white, and the plinth and stem are finished in brass. Its narrow depth suits a sideboard or console against the wall, or a bedside without much room front to back.
