Rippled and tactile, the Her Hands pendant has an organic irregularity to it — each pressed ridge slightly different from the last, the form reading more handmade than manufactured. It's cast from reclaimed coffee grounds and waste magazine pulp by women artisans in Southern Africa, which gives the surface a fine, matte granularity that absorbs light rather than reflecting it. Hang it low over a bedside table or in a hallway where the scale and texture read well at close range.
