Organic and tapered, the Garlic Basket Pendant has an unhurried quality — its long fringe hanging loose, its form shaped more by hand than by any strict geometry. It's woven from natural fibres by artisans in Zimbabwe, the weave slightly irregular in the way handwork always is, casting a softly patterned light through the shade when lit. Each piece varies a little in weave and shape, which is what you'd expect from something made individually by hand. Works well above a dining table or reading corner, singly or grouped at varied heights.
