Low and dense, the Buhera lamp base has the quiet presence of something made slowly — grounded rather than decorative, its rounded form sitting close to the surface it rests on. It's handwoven from local grasses in Zimbabwe's Buhera district; the natural irregularity of the weave gives the earthy, close-toned surface a subtle movement as the light shifts, and no two pieces are identical. Works well on a bedside or side table; shade not included.
