Wide-backed and upright, the Pier armchair has an open silhouette that reads as relaxed without tipping into casual — the rattan seat and back let the eye travel through the chair rather than settle on it. The frame is reclaimed elm, with visible grain and natural tonal variation; the open-weave rattan sits light against it, both in texture and contrast. Works well at a dining table or pulled to a desk or bedroom corner.

Wider in the back than most of our coastal dining chairs — the rattan keeps it from reading heavy.
