The Wabi Throw holds its shape rather than draping — it has a sculptural solidity that reads as intentional, even folded. Hand-spun from reclaimed linen yarns, the weave is chunky and irregular, with a surface roughness that softens only slightly with use; natural fibre variation means no two pieces are identical, and some shedding is normal. It works draped over an armchair or folded at the end of a bed.

The Wabi is made from linen yarns that were headed for waste — leftover from other production runs, then hand-spun into a new yarn with a chunky, irregular character that virgin linen doesn't have. The recycled fibre gives each throw a raw, one-off texture. It sheds a little at first and has surface irregularities that settle with use. This is reclaimed material used honestly, not polished into something it isn't.
  • Material: 100 percent recycled linen
  • Finish: Chunky hand-spun recycled linen with irregular texture
  • Use: Throw
  • Colour: Black, White

The Wabi works best as a standalone texture piece — drape it over an armchair or the end of a bed where the chunky, irregular weave can be seen and felt. Keep the surrounding pieces simple so the raw linen gets the space it needs.

Placement: Armchair, bed end, sofa, reading nook

Perfect for: Adding raw, reclaimed texture and a handmade feel to a room

100 percent recycled linen, hand-spun from leftover linen yarns. Chunky, irregular, heavily textured weave. 170x130cm.
