Low and drum-shaped, the Ilala Palm Coffee Table has a quiet solidity — the coiled weave reads as considered rather than decorative, giving the form structural presence without visual weight. It's handwoven in Zimbabwe from ilala palm fibre, the natural material shifting across the surface from pale straw to warm honey, with a texture that's close and dense to the touch. Variation in tone and weave density is inherent to the hand process, so each piece differs slightly. It works best given room to breathe — a natural fit beside a deep sofa or a cluster of floor cushions.
