A rattan dining chair with British colonial roots — the geometric lattice back is lifted straight from Chinese Chippendale pattern books, but rendered in rattan instead of carved mahogany.

It's that tropical reinterpretation: lighter materials for humid climates, but still holding onto the formal dining chair silhouette. Decorative rattan wrapping winds around the legs and frame in intervals, mimicking the bamboo joinery that became a signature of colonial furniture across Singapore, Hong Kong, and the Caribbean.

The seat is upholstered in pale linen-tone fabric, raised and cushioned enough to sit properly through dinner.

Cleaning: Dust the rattan frame with a soft, dry cloth or feather duster. Vacuum the seat with an upholstery attachment. Spot clean fabric with mild upholstery cleaner. Avoid moisture on the rattan.
