A small, round-bodied form grooved deep from rim to base, lifted on a raw clay foot that grounds the whole thing. A soft shell glaze settles into the flutes and pools darker through them, breaking against the unglazed pedestal beneath — fired ceramic, so it falls differently on each. The narrow mouth suits a single stem or a short branch, on a bedside, a shelf, or grouped with other vessels.
Grooved to the foot and left raw beneath — small, but it holds its own among our coastal pots and vases.
Not watertight and the mouth's narrow — a single dried stem suits it best. Group it with rounder, smoother vessels so the fluting reads.
Placement: Bedside, shelf, or a tabletop grouping.
Perfect for: Adding fluted texture and a raw, earthy foot to a vignette.
Glazed ceramic with a raw, unglazed clay foot — colour and pooling vary piece to piece. Not watertight; opening approx 6cm; weight around 2kg.
Cleaning: Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Wipe with a slightly damp cloth if needed; avoid abrasive cleaners. The raw foot can mark — use a felt pad on fine surfaces.
