Three solid black spheres carry a thick, gently domed disc, so the whole thing reads more like a piece of sculpture than a table. It sits low and grounded, the round top floating just clear of the balls beneath. The top is elm — an elm veneer over a solid core - blacked out so the grain reads as faint texture under the dark finish, while the legs are turned from reclaimed fir into full spheres. Low and wide, it anchors the centre of a living room with room to walk around its rounded form.
Three spheres and a disc - the least table-like arithmetic in our coastal coffee tables.
Pairs with the matching Tor side table for a set. Float it square to a sofa and leave room to walk around the rounded form.
Placement: Centre of a living room, square to a sofa
Perfect for: Anchoring a living room with a low, sculptural black form.
Elm-veneer top on reclaimed fir legs, so grain and tone vary piece to piece. Veneer top — wipe spills promptly and don’t let water pool. Fully assembled. Holds up to 50kg. Indoor use, not suited to commercial use.
Cleaning: Dust with a soft dry cloth. Wipe with a barely-damp cloth and dry off straight away. Avoid harsh chemicals and standing water on the veneer.
