The deep black bands make this Large Nkosi basket read more firmly against pale walls and timber surfaces. Handcrafted in South Africa from Ilala palm, its tall lidded form follows a traditional vessel shape once used to carry liquids. Place it on a sideboard, low console or wide shelf, allowing enough height for the narrow neck and lid to show in full.

Each piece has been intricately created by hand. If there are small flaws it is a sign and proof of human touch, making each and every piece unique with tiny little differences. Images are a representation of the product and item supplied will differ from the one pictured.
