A wide, round barrel of a table, its full height banded in alternating staves of pale and dark timber that run vertical all the way round the top and down the legs. The two-tone striping turns a simple drum into a strong graphic — light oak tone against deep walnut tone, repeating like the slats of a cask. It's built from engineered wood under a veneer finish, the grain reading cleanly through the matte top. Wide and low on two thick cylindrical feet, it holds the centre of a living room and earns the floor space it takes.
